Maine voices matter in shaping the future of our schools. The Maine Citizens’ Assembly on Education Priorities is bringing together 64 Mainers, ages 16–109, to learn, collaborate, and share ideas that can help strengthen PK–12 education across our state. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to listen, learn, and contribute.

Registration for the delegate selection lottery closes this Sunday, May 10th! Selected delegates will meet in-person on June 17–18 in Bangor, virtually on August 28, and will receive a $750 stipend, with hotel and meals covered. Students will have dedicated on-site support. If you’ve ever wanted to have a voice in the future of education in Maine, this is a meaningful opportunity to be part of the conversation.
