Biddeford's Reopening Plan 2021-22 will be presented at the School Committee meeting for approval on Tuesday. Thank you to (1) our parents and students for their diligence in adhering to prevention measures (masking, handwashing, screening) which has allowed our schools to remain open and (2) our administrators and staff for their commitment to our students which allowed us to prepare a report that was comprehensive and developed well in advance. We believe this road map is another step in the right direction to our students' success.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Following school vacation, the Biddeford and Dayton School Department’s nurses and administrators are developing a plan to provide rapid testing for students and staff on the remote days prior to returning to in-person instruction. It will be a drive-thru event in which sign-ups are required in advance with a maximum of 500 tests to be utilized. In order to test as many students and staff as possible, we are asking for volunteers. There are certain criteria for volunteering as noted in the sign-up form. If you would like to volunteer, please complete this Google Sign-Up Form by Tuesday, April 13th at 9am. More information will follow regarding the actual rapid testing sign-ups as capacity will be dependent upon volunteer availability.
Food Distribution for Remote Week (January 4-8) will be between 10:30am-12pm at the Biddeford Middle School Bus Loop and via bus delivery (see Google Doc included for locations and approximate times). This is available to all youth, regardless of income, so please take advantage of this opportunity to have one less task in your busy schedule.
