The BIS Coffee Cart has been an exciting Friday initiative at BIS for years! On Fridays every week, our coffee-loving staff have the opportunity to start their day with a cup of their favorite coffee delivered by our incredible students. This initiative allows students to practice their communication and leadership skills around our school. Proceeds from the cart go to our Functional Life Skills activity fund! We asked our teachers why they love the coffee cart... "The coffee cart is awesome in so many ways, one of which is the fact that it is an ongoing tradition that positively impacts practically every student and staff in the whole school." "I love coffee cart because I get to see my students smile and spread smiles all around the school! "

Our theme for the month of November is KINDNESS at BIS, We kicked off our November team assemblies today with brainstorming acts of kindness for National Kindness Week and a fun introduction to "friendship soup"!
